09/99Navigating the Company Research Web Site
Company data is one of the most commonly sought types of information. The information may be needed for course work, preparing for a job interview, or for investment decisions. Many individuals are unfamiliar with traditional or electronic business resources. This site is designed to simplify the research process and to aid a beginning researcher by offering a self-help approach.
Each section contains extensive explanatory text as well as recommended resources. It is by no means meant to be a comprehensive listing of all available materials. Consult your local university or college library for additional assistance.
Using Frames
There are two navigational frames used on this web site. The RED HORIZONTAL BAR across the top of the screen divides the site into the main headings. Think of them as "book titles". The red bar will stay the same no matter what page you are on.The BLUE VERTICAL BAR that appears along the left side of the screen is the equivalent to chapters in a book. For example, if you select "Company Research" from the top bar, the blue bar will indicate the chapters within Company Research from which to choose, such as Public Companies or International Companies. If you select Industry Research from the top bar, the blue navigational bar at the left will change and list the sections available within Industry Research.
This site is complex in structure. If you are lost or if there is a particular section you would like to go to directly, view the site map. It provides a complete index or outline of this site.
