The text, Studying Business, the Bridge to Your Future, is designed to aid your academic and professional success.  For this to happen, YOU MUST USE IT.  In order to encourage your use, you must complete the following assignments.

Requirement One - 30 points

1. Complete either exercise 6 or 7 in Chapter 1 (page 17).
2. Complete exercise 8 in Chapter 2 (page 47).  Be sure to include a grid (page 49) of your intended time usage and one of your actual time usage.
3. Complete exercises 15 and 16 in Chapter 2 (page 47).  They refer to the Academic Success Skills Survey on pages 50-52.  You are not required to complete the survey and, therefore, need not answer the question "What is your average score for these?"

Requirement Two - 40 points

1. Conduct a formal interview with a business professional.  For the interview you may use the list of
    questions provided on page 131.  Be sure that your write-up is in paragraph form and not simply the
    answers to these questions.
2. Complete exercise 15 in Chapter 4 (139).  The questions you are to answer are on pages 127 & 128.
    You are not required to practice the interview with a friend.
3. and 4.  Complete 2 of the following  assignments in Chapter 5:
    i.  Exercise 1 on page 205.  Describe the influences of your choice of major, whether you are a
        business major or not.
    ii. Exercise 4 on page 205
    iii. Exercise 8 on page 206
