Animated Mechanisms

While there are many sources of material related to the animated depiction of organic reaction mechanisms, both  from commercial vendors and free online, we have found some of them to be limited by price and download time. 

As a result we have developed our own series of simple animated GIF files to depict the more important reaction mechanisms encountered in sophomore organic chemistry. 

The following links lead to pages featuring a brief discussion of the particular mechanism with static images, with these images then collected into an animated GIF at the end of the page.  We are currently working on improving the scope and quality of the material contained herein.
