Use Sources Fairly and Accurately

Library research can seem overwhelming unless it is broken down into smaller, more manageable steps.  Because research is not necessarily a linear process, you may need to retrace steps if you haven't found enough information, or you may begin writing before you finish searching all available resources.  Make the most of your research by giving yourself enough time to gather and select material.  Also allow enough time so that you may follow an unexpected lead or take a new direction if you have the opportunity to do so.
